The Abu Dhabi Equestrian Facility is a private project built on 23,431.00 m2 of land including a stable block and an outdoor area. Designed for eight horses in total, the stable block has a completely symmetrical 4+4 composition. In addition to the stable areas, there is a saddle storage, a groom’s room, two storerooms, two washing and tying areas. When viewed from the outside, the building has a very simple but distinctive appearance and draws attention with its classical lines. Due to the climate conditions of the region; the health and comfort of the horses has been considered with care. In addition to the sky window that provides natural ventilation, a detailed air conditioning system has been installed. The steel structure is used as the main circulation area in the center of the building, connecting the sand, paddock and entrances. A simple design language was adopted in the project and all details were meticulously studied for the comfort of horses and horse owners.
