The project, which combines modern and traditional architecture in Doha, the capital of Qatar, takes its inspiration from traditional tent structures. The angles at the corners of the building and the tension systems reminiscent of tents bring the traces of the past to the present design. The Arabic calligraphy used in the stone paving shapes and roof patterns give the building a unique character. The color choices in earthy tones and vibrant orange hues reflect the warm atmosphere and natural beauty of the region and become part of the surrounding landscape. It is shaping up as an architectural masterpiece that interprets the rich culture, traditions and spirit of Qatar, together with its climate and natural features.
