The indoor warm-up arena designed for the Equieffe Equestrian Centre in Milan establishes a strong dialogue with the existing architectural language while introducing a layered and dynamic spatial organization shaped by level differences. An elevated circulation and viewing system overlooks both the warm-up and the main arena, enhancing the spectator experience and spatial continuity.
Residual spaces generated between levels are efficiently utilized as storage, reinforcing the project’s functional clarity. Natural light and ventilation are key drivers of the design, contributing to both environmental quality and user comfort. Given the venue’s role as an international competition hub, integrated banner zones for sponsors are seamlessly embedded within the architectural framework.
The project ultimately delivers a bold and cohesive arena concept that merges performance, visibility, and spatial richness into a unified architectural statement.
